STOP “Shoulding” all over yourself!

In the past month, I have been asked,

“What is your purpose?”

and

“What is the purpose of your company?”

It has really put me into a place of pondering and getting clear on what our purpose is here at Assistants 4 Hire.

The answer:

I am extremely passionate about giving time back to our clients.

To use for:

  • Client work they love.

  • Creating programs and services they can bill for more extensively (which leads to more money in their pockets)

  • Building and developing relationships with their current clients, potential clients, and referral partners = More Clients!

  • Getting more time off… May I suggest the Caribbean?

  • Having More Fun!

How do we do that here at Assistants 4 Hire?

  • Listening for your “Shoulds”

You have heard me say it plenty of times, but it all begins with people and their should lists.

I should be:

  • Writing a blog and creating a newsletter every month.

  • Able to get through my inbox every day.

  • Able to manage my calendar without double bookings.

  • Following up with my potential client list.

  • Invoicing on time every month.

The list goes on and on…

  • Listing all the “Shoulds”

We start this process through our Paid Consult Call.

This is our process:

  • We send an intake form to anyone in the process of Discovery of what a Virtual Assistant team can do for them. This is where they list all of the admin tasks that they do daily, weekly, bi-weekly or monthly.

  • Then, we have a one-hour screen share call where we take a deep dive into all of their tasks that are 1) Their least favorite to do. 2) That they are not that efficient in doing. 3) Not worth their time and money to be doing.

  • Then, we create 3-4 actionable steps that will give more efficiency in their business and provide the framework for us to move forward working together.

  • Cleaning up your Should List

    • We go straight into the proposal process of finding a monthly scope of work that we can take over for you.

    • The work plan is customized to your specific needs.

    • It can move and shift to what your needs are over time.

    • We find the most efficient plan for getting your “shoulds” out of your hands and into ours.

    • And, we create a plan with a budget that works for you!

  • Constantly and effectively creating processes for your “Shoulds”

    • Through our 1-1.5 month onboarding process, we create consistent processes with you.

    • We create daily, bi-monthly, monthly and even quarterly tasks that serve to make your business work with flow and ease!

    • We also create our own procedures manuals so that the processes we create are easily shared with others to take on the work.

  • Bite the “Shoulds” in the butt before they start…you know, smelling.

    • We know that businesses evolve and change. That is why each of our contracts has built-in client calls. This could be weekly, bi-monthly, or monthly depending on scope. That way as your needs change we are right there to create new strategies and change our scope according to your needs.

  • Being the maintenance crew of all the “Shoulds”

    • We build project management into each one of our contracts. All of the processes we implement we will make sure are completed and our goal is to have them done on-time!

So, as you can see, I am very passionate about what we do here at Assistants 4 Hire. In fact, so much so that I implement them into my life every day. I want the same thing I want for our clients and our team members: Doing a job they love, having more time to pursue their other passions and having A LOT More FUN living life!

EXAMPLE: Every time I catch myself “shoulding” all over myself, I immediately think, who on my team can do this?

Perfect example.. I was told about 2 months ago, you really should have a video talking about this. Well, thanks to our lovely and talented Jessice Cannizzarro, our Communications Consultant, we do! Check out our YouTube Video HERE.

Happy 2023 and may we all have a lot more time to DO The Things We Love!
